What Is Steam Cleaner?
The steam cleaning process is a method of cleaning surfaces using low-pressure steam. This process is commonly used to prepare surfaces prior to painting or coating. Steam cleaning effectively removes dirt, oil, grease, and other soluble pollutants.
Why Use Steam Cleaning?
Steam cleaning uses either steam or pressured hot water. Steam and hot water are frequently mixed with a detergent or an alkaline cleanser to clean a surface. Steam cleaning eliminates impurities by heating and diluting oils, greases, loosens dirt and other contaminants.
Surface pollutants like dust mites can be readily removed after dilution by steam cleaning. With detergent, steam cleaning may effectively remove loose heavy contaminants and even existing paints and coatings.
How is Steam Cleaning Working?
An internal boiler boils ordinary tap water to boiling point (about 225°F) and then pumps it out under pressure as steam. High-pressure steam may reach minuscule holes on a variety of surfaces, killing germs, mould, mildew, and other irritants.
The most powerful steam cleaners, including Ladybug Steam Cleaners, can heat water up to 325°F to eliminate bacteria. However, extremely filthy sections like ovens or grills can be steam cleaned and then wiped clean while still wet to eliminate all dirt.
Chemical-free cleaning is fantastic for the environment and indoor air quality, but some surfaces just can’t handle the heat. Anything that can be destroyed by heat shouldn’t be cleaned with steam.

You may have tried steam cleaning these surfaces with mixed results. But, especially with apparel, carpeting, upholstery, and curtains, the manufacturer’s label is preferred.
High heat can damage silk, rayon, and other synthetic textiles, therefore clothing should be washed using a steam cleaner intended for that purpose.
Many big machines include a carpet glide, however, this is only for surface cleaning, not deep cleaning. Without suction, wet carpets can take a long time to dry and mildew can grow deep into the pile.
While steam cleaners can theoretically clean exterior walls and cracks, they aren’t large enough or powerful enough to do it effectively (like a pressure washer).
