Assess the BBQ and parts involved
Share the fuel type, model if known, location, visible grease, corrosion and requested parts. Ask whether grates, trays, burners, hood, exterior and surrounding area are included. Cleaning does not automatically include gas, electrical or mechanical repairs.
Follow appliance and product instructions
Make sure the BBQ is cool and follow the manual for removable parts and utility isolation. Use only compatible products and methods. Keep chemicals away from food-contact surfaces unless the label permits that use and gives rinsing directions.
Plan a safe appointment
Discuss access, nearby surfaces, drainage, wastewater, grease handling and who may isolate utilities. Do not disconnect gas or electrical fittings yourself unless qualified and directed. Stop use and seek service for suspected leaks, damaged wiring or faulty components.
Compare service terms
Request written inclusions, exclusions, preparation, price basis and what happens if corrosion or damage is found. Cleaning may improve appearance but cannot restore damaged coatings or guarantee cooking performance.
