Ask whether kitchen surfaces, oven, rangehood, bathroom fixtures, cupboards, floors, reachable windows and other requested areas are included. Carpet extraction, blinds, high glass, garages, balconies, rubbish removal and pest treatment may be separate tasks.

Give providers the same room list, property condition, access details and inspection timing. Confirm price basis, exclusions, products, cancellation and any re-clean policy in writing. A policy applies only under its stated terms and is not a bond-back guarantee.

Remove belongings and ordinary rubbish, arrange keys, parking, utilities and access, and note existing damage. Coordinate trades and removalists where possible. Repairs, mould remediation, pest work and hazardous materials require separate assessment.
