Set a practical presentation checklist
Prioritise entry areas, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, visible surfaces and windows that are safely reachable. List furniture, rugs, appliances, outdoor spaces and any items that should not be moved.
Match cleaning to materials and property condition
Use products and methods suited to the surface and follow care instructions for timber, stone, glass, carpets, upholstery and appliances. Cleaning cannot repair damage, replace paint, remove every stain or address pests and building faults.
Coordinate cleaning with property preparation
Confirm access, keys, timing, staging, maintenance, rubbish and trade work with the property manager. For furnished homes, document inventory and existing marks before cleaning. Choose a scope that can be completed before viewings without unsafe rushing.
Choose a provider and compare terms
Request a written task list with price basis, inclusions, exclusions and optional carpet, window or upholstery work. Ask how damage and missed tasks are handled. Reviews and presentation photos do not establish future tenant demand or rental value.
