List stone, timber, glass, metal, lacquer, designer fabrics and appliance finishes. Follow manufacturer instructions and ask before using steam, solvents, acids or abrasive tools. A specialist may be needed for antiques, valuable art, delicate textiles or restoration.
Protect access and belongings
Confirm keys, alarms, lifts, parking, restricted rooms, owner items and fragile objects. Agree whether furniture may be moved and how floors and surfaces will be protected. Do not dismantle fixtures or handle valuables without permission.
Define presentation tasks
Specify rooms, reachable surfaces, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, windows, wardrobes and optional carpet or upholstery cleaning. Distinguish routine presentation cleaning from repairs, gardening, pest treatment, laundry and hazardous work.
Compare providers and terms
Share property details, photos, access rules and deadlines when requesting a quote. Confirm method, staff arrangements, inclusions, exclusions, price basis and damage reporting in writing. Cleaning cannot guarantee tenant interest, a higher rent, positive reviews or restoration of worn finishes.
