Remove belongings and plan access
Clear personal items and arrange keys, parking, lifts, utilities and the final access window. Keep walkways open. Handle rubbish, recycling and hazardous waste separately according to local rules.
Work through kitchen and bathroom surfaces
Clean accessible benches, sinks, cupboard fronts, toilets, showers and fixtures with compatible products. Appliance interiors, filters, windows and stone surfaces may need separate scope or care instructions.
Check floors, storage and living areas
Dust reachable ledges and fittings, vacuum suitable carpets and clean compatible hard floors. Check cupboards and wardrobes only when empty and included. Do not move heavy appliances, climb unsafely or use an aggressive product on painted walls or delicate finishes.
Keep cleaning, maintenance and tenancy matters separate
Document existing damage and maintenance issues separately from cleaning. Follow the lease, condition report and current agent instructions. Cleaning can address agreed tasks but cannot guarantee an inspection, bond or sale outcome.
Confirm any booked service
If arranging help, provide the property type, rooms, condition, access and handover date. Confirm tasks, exclusions, optional work, price and current availability in writing.
