List internal and external panes, frames, tracks, sills, screens, storeys, balconies and any restricted areas. State whether the property is a house, apartment, office or strata building and identify building rules.

High-level, roof, rope-access or difficult exterior work requires suitable training, equipment, insurance and approvals. Ask the provider to confirm capability for the exact site; do not assume any window cleaner can perform every access method.

Request written inclusions, exclusions, price basis, timing, weather policy and how difficult access is handled. Cleaning does not repair cracked glass, failed seals, scratches or etching; restoration is separate.

Arrange parking, keys, lift or gate access and clear reachable sills. Provide photos of difficult panes and identify screens or tracks. Confirm what can be safely completed and whether any areas will be excluded.
