Providers may ask about rooms, bathrooms, layout, furnishings and the property's current condition to understand the requested work. Share accurate details and note any access constraints; a bedroom count alone does not describe every job.
Requested tasks and optional items
State which rooms and surfaces you want cleaned and list carpet work, appliance interiors, windows, upholstery or other extras separately. Ask how each item is treated in the written quote rather than assuming it is included.
Location, access and timing
Provide the exact suburb or postcode, preferred date, parking or entry arrangements and relevant timing constraints. Ask the provider to confirm address-level availability and any terms that affect the appointment.
Compare current written quotes
Send the same property details and task list to each provider. Compare the current price basis alongside inclusions, exclusions, optional work and terms. Historical rates, estimates based on a different property and headline prices with different scopes are not like-for-like.
Separate quote questions from bond questions
A quote sets out proposed cleaning work and its price basis; it does not determine a tenancy duty, inspection result or bond refund. Check legal questions with current official local tenancy guidance.
