Use a room-by-room list for accessible surfaces, skirting, tracks, fans, cupboards, appliances and bathrooms. Confirm balcony, garage, storage, exterior windows and other areas separately rather than assuming every space is included.
Avoid unsuitable products and rushed work
Check surface and appliance instructions before applying chemicals, moisture, heat or abrasives. Allow enough time after belongings and movers are cleared, and keep wet floors and products away from people and pets. Never mix cleaners or attempt repairs as part of a clean.
Separate cleaning from damage and specialist tasks
Cleaning addresses removable soil on suitable surfaces. Carpet extraction, pest treatment, mould remediation, repairs, hazardous waste, damage and fair-wear disputes require their own assessment or provider. Record existing condition and follow the property manager’s written instructions.
Confirm scope and access before booking
