Describe the property and requested date
Provide the exact suburb or postcode, property type, room count, furnishings, condition, access arrangements and preferred appointment date. Ask each provider to confirm availability for the address rather than relying on a broad Melbourne or Richmond label.
List tasks instead of assuming a package
Name the rooms and surfaces you want quoted. Put carpets, oven interiors, windows, upholstery and other extras on separate lines, and ask which are included, optional, excluded or require another assessment.

Compare current written scope and price basis
Give providers the same property and task details. Compare their current written inclusions, exclusions, access needs, appointment terms and price basis. An old rate, promotional amount or ‘affordable’ label is not a substitute for a property-specific quote.
Keep tenancy and property issues separate
A cleaning quote describes proposed work; it does not determine a bond, inspection or legal decision. Repairs, pests and mould remediation are separate from routine cleaning and may require another provider. Check tenancy questions with current official Victorian guidance or a qualified adviser.
