Describe the BBQ and its condition
Share the suburb or postcode, whether the unit is freestanding or built-in, the brand/model if known, fuel type, condition and access. Ask the provider whether it serves the exact address and can assess the appliance before confirming a quote.

List the tasks you want considered
Name the areas or components you want quoted, such as accessible exterior surfaces, racks or trays. Do not assume disassembly, burner work, repairs, parts replacement or commercial equipment is included; ask the provider to state its limits and exclusions.
Compare like-for-like written proposals
Give each provider the same appliance and task information. Compare the current price basis, work included, optional tasks, access requirements and appointment terms. A headline amount is not comparable if it relies on different equipment or scope assumptions.
Keep cleaning separate from appliance advice
Cleaning does not establish that a grill is safe to operate, repair a fault or improve cooking performance. For model-specific care or operation, use the manufacturer's instructions; request a qualified appliance technician for faults or repairs.
