Describe your premises and priorities
Share the site type, approximate area, operating hours, access, floor materials, shared facilities, waste arrangements and priority tasks. Identify restricted areas, sensitive equipment and any site procedures that cleaners must follow.
Compare written cleaning scopes
Ask which rooms and surfaces are included, how often visits occur, who supplies products and consumables, and what is excluded. Confirm separate pricing for carpet, windows, detailed floors, disinfection or other specialist tasks.
Verify provider-specific claims
If a provider mentions insurance, training, certification, screening, environmental products or regulated-site experience, ask for current details and confirm they apply to the specific work. Do not assume general commercial cleaning covers medical, education, industrial or other controlled premises.
Agree on access and service terms
Discuss keys, alarms, after-hours entry, site contacts, incident reporting, cancellations and how extra work is approved. Compare quotes using the same information and keep the final scope and terms in writing.
