Describe the building and glazing
List building type, location, floor levels, pane counts, frames, tracks, screens, coatings, access windows and nearby public areas. Share site hours, parking, security, tenants and any building rules.
Check the proposed access method
Ask how the provider will reach each pane and what site-specific equipment, training, approvals and insurance apply. Rope access, platforms, water-fed poles and other methods have different limits; do not assume one approach suits every building.
Compare written commercial proposals
Give each provider the same pane list, frequency, access details, timing and condition. Confirm included components, weather policy, runoff, exclusions, variation charges and complaint process in writing.

Set realistic outcomes
Cleaning may remove suitable soil and improve appearance, but cannot guarantee sales, productivity, extra daylight, health results or extended glass life. Defects and restoration require separate assessment.
