Set a repeatable room checklist
List kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, reachable windows, appliances and outdoor areas where applicable. Record which tasks are routine, deep-clean, or optional specialist work.
Document condition and maintenance
Photograph visible damage, wear, leaks and maintenance concerns separately from cleaning. Coordinate keys, utilities, trades, waste and access with the property manager. Cleaning does not repair defects, treat pests or resolve moisture problems.
Confirm the service and timing
Share property size, condition, furnished status, access, schedule and priorities when requesting a quote. Confirm inclusions, exclusions, products, price basis and any re-clean terms in writing.
Set realistic property expectations
A clean may prepare agreed surfaces for viewing or handover, but market demand, rental pricing, tenant choice and vacancy periods depend on many factors beyond cleaning.
