Check the appliances before cleaning
Read the oven and BBQ manuals for approved products, removable parts, self-clean cycles and utility isolation. Do not clean hot appliances, dismantle gas connections or use water near electrical components. Arrange qualified repair if a fault, damaged wire, gas smell or leak is suspected.
Clean only compatible surfaces
Use one labelled product at a time and protect nearby surfaces, food, children and pets. Do not mix vinegar, bleach, oven cleaner or other chemicals. Avoid applying products to elements, seals, burners or coatings unless the appliance instructions permit it.
Plan time for drying and preparation
Allow cleaned parts and surfaces to dry as directed before cooking. A quick wipe may remove fresh residue but will not deep-clean baked-on grease or repair corrosion. Use appropriate utensils and normal food-handling practices when preparing meals.
Request specialist cleaning where suitable
If the appliances need a deeper clean, share the model, condition, location, access and requested parts when obtaining a quote. Confirm inclusions and exclusions in writing. Cleaning does not repair an appliance or guarantee performance, food quality or safety.
