Compare the written inclusions
Ask what rooms and tasks are included, which are optional, how access is arranged and what condition information the provider needs. Do not assume carpet, exterior windows, balconies, garages or heavy furniture are part of a standard booking.
Plan around move-out and access
Confirm when belongings will be removed, how keys or building access will be provided and when utilities will be available. If trades or movers need to return after cleaning, account for that in the schedule.
Keep tenancy outcomes separate
A cleaner can perform the agreed work but cannot assess legal responsibility, decide whether a property meets a lease obligation or guarantee a bond refund. Use the relevant written tenancy documents and official local guidance for those questions.
