Focus on guest-used areas
Consider the entry, living spaces, bathroom, kitchen and guest bedroom. List reachable dusting, floors, sinks, benches, bins and other priorities. Appliance interiors, windows, upholstery, carpets and outdoor areas may require separate tasks.
Book with clear timing and access
Share property condition, room list, pets, access, parking and the date guests arrive. Confirm arrival window, products, inclusions, exclusions, cancellations and drying requirements in writing. Avoid last-minute expectations for work that needs specialist equipment.

Use products appropriate to surfaces
Follow product labels and maker instructions for stone, timber, fabrics, appliances and food-contact surfaces. Do not mix chemicals or use fragrance to cover persistent odours. Keep children and pets away from products and wet floors.
Set realistic expectations
A clean can complete the agreed tasks but cannot guarantee a particular amount of free time, guest response, stain removal, indoor-air result or health outcome. Repairs, pests and hazardous materials require separate assessment.
