Check cleaning and specialist tasks separately
The RTA provides specific pages for cleaning when vacating and carpet cleaning and pest control. Review them alongside your entry condition report, agreement and any relevant written terms. This guide does not determine whether a particular term applies to your circumstances.
Build a property-specific cleaning scope
List the rooms, current condition, access arrangements and handover timing. Identify requested tasks such as oven, windows, carpets or furnished items separately, and ask what the provider includes, excludes or needs to inspect first. Keep repairs, gardening, pest treatment and other specialist work distinct from ordinary cleaning unless the provider confirms that work in writing.

The RTA’s exit condition report guidance explains the official report process. For bond questions, use the RTA’s current bond refund information. A cleaning quote describes a service scope; it cannot decide a tenancy issue or guarantee an inspection or bond outcome.
