Match the method to each material
Check care guidance for glass, timber, stone, paint, carpet and upholstery before using a product or tool. Avoid acids, abrasives, excessive moisture and untested solvents. Windows, appliance interiors, carpets, upholstery and outdoor areas may need separate scope.
Sequence cleaning with repairs and styling
Where practical, complete dusty work, painting and repairs before the final presentation clean. Arrange styling, rubbish removal, gardening, pest treatment and building work separately unless a provider confirms those tasks in writing.
